Witnessed a fatherly moment today when a a lone deer (a buck) stood on the edge of the road looked both ways saw me slow down and stood in the middle of the road as a doe gallopped across followed by 4 baby deer. Once the last one crossed the father (buck) took off and ran across and caught back up to the front of the pack. A truly neat example of fatherhood in nature.
